So far in January, I've sold $676 worth of octopods at a local Philadelphia coffeeshop and donated the entire amount to Trans Lifeline, plus fees. Community support, one felted blob at a time.

For the exact same reason: hound your friends to donate to trans rights orgs and individual fundraisers more than policing their pop culture consumption choices. THAT'S what makes a real difference.

I read the novel VIANNE by @joannechocolat.bsky.social in one sitting today, even though I'd had it from the library for quite a while. I didn't know why today. Then I found that December 4 is a special day in this novel. ❤️ The book was magic and I'll reread CHOCOLAT now.
