One of the retorts I hate the most about housing is the "well why don't you house someone?"
And it's frustrating because a lot of people do, actually! If you've let someone couch surf at your home, you are housing someone temporarily. My family has done it multiple times with different people

There are no cohesive values that bind them together except that they are not Republicans. We need a new party with actual standards but for now, vote out the spineless

I'm glad the Democrats seem to be celebrating Mamdani's win but it's absolutely infuriating when taken in the context of how many pushed back on him and denied him support. That on top of how many people were happy that Fateh lost. Like......some of y'all and go fuck yourselves

One of the things that's been frustrating about politics is how many of them have prepared for years to get into politics. It leaves so many of them insulated from the working class. How would politics change if they had friends who saw first hand the effects of privatized medical transportation
