Right now, at the end of my street, a few feet from my car. Deer in my neighborhood are very unconcerned about being around humans. This neighbor has a crabapple tree that the deer love; they're always there. (sometimes bears too)

Never. An actor is a person. Tilly isn't a person. It's an animated character. It isn't a "leading role." It's a character in an animated movie, just like Elsa or Mufasa.

The team that created her could get an award for technology or animation, but "Tilly" should never be recognized for an Oscar.

@ryannorth.ca My 9yo "must always have her tablet" daughter brought a change of pace with her to dinner.

She said, "I need to get through all the endings!"

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps:

- It’s ‘voilà,’ not ‘wallah!’
- It’s ‘a lot,’ not ‘alot.’
- It’s ‘further ado,’ not ‘farther adieu.’
- It’s ‘flesh out,’ not ‘flush out.’
- It’s ‘sneak peek,’ not ‘sneak peak.’

No worries if not!!!

There's a bit of irony with me feeling like I need an AI assistant to specifically help me identify when whatever I'm looking at was written by or created with AI.

Took my daughter to see the Limited KPop Demon Hunters showing in the theater (she's seen it dozens of times at home). The theater was packed.

I lived in Pacifica for a decade. This event was always fun to watch. There are lots of great doggos who get pure joy out being on surf boards.

This movie better win some awards.

I highly recommend it. The soundtrack alone is spectacular.

The family is watching the most recent episode of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. My 9yo daughter said, "She's like me, smart, creative, and weird."

Then she followed up with, "I want to be like her when I grow up."

I asked her to clarify.

"I want to be an inventor and an engineer."

My home is dominated by KPop Demon Hunters these days. My 9yo has watched it at least a dozen times, and the music is playing on loop at all hours. The movie and music are both good.

I hope our service members remember that, historically, "just following orders" does not hold up well in court and that they refuse to comply with unlawful orders.

Very cool, and weird at the same time. I got death threats over this, cool for it it to be recognized.

Before I was a game dev, I was a zoologist. So, it's not uncommon for me to help out critters I find. This is a fuzzy-horned bumble bee. I found it on my porch, lying on its back; it had some spider webs on it. I pulled the webbing off and got it back on a flower.
