I am beyond disgusted that Starmer is pandering to the Tories and Farage on immigration. That's a game he can never win. All that happens is he drags political discourse even further to the right and helps to normalise far-right talking points. We all lose in the end.

I thought I understood Starmer; I had him down as a vaguely narcissistic, status-hungry, political makeweight being used by the Right to destroy the Left. I underestimated him. Not by ability, but he's far more determined in his evil than I gave credit for.

We need a new approach to copyright. The current law dates back to 1710. Completely agree that Gen AI is a threat, but it is also potentially an opportunity.
