Honestly, Legends Z-A might be the best thing that could've happened to gen 6. Much as I love so many of the Pokemon that were introduced in X & Y, those games were easily the most paint-by-numbers bland template games that GF has released. Just... so intensely unmemorable.

It really is amazing that GameFreak still hasn't patched overworld shiny sparkles into SV. Given how obvious its inclusion should be, I'm thinking there's a non-zero chance that they'll make that part of like a Sparkle Charm you unlock for completing the Indigo Disk's Pokedex.

every time I shiny hunt a small Pokemon, I grow more and more resentful of GameFreak's removal of overworld shiny sparkles. Yes, the shiny Applin is cool, but was it really worth the eye strain trying to spot 5 green pixels hidden in the grass...? Also yes, but, like, y'know

the biggest hurdle you need to overcome when learning low-level programming is that memory management in C++ really isn't that hard. you just do delete after you do new. ez.

pretty messed up that, other than Saria, there are only, like, 2 named Kokiri in all of Ocarina of Time, and Fado only has a name because she was important in an earlier beta version of the game.

Many longtime Bionicle fans make reference to a phenomenon called "The Dream" wherein they find themselves inside of a supermarket or toy store or some such when they happen upon some Bionicles for sale. This is considered by the community to be almost a rite of passage that everyone goes through.
