I think she was the sage of the Shadow Temple...? I assume they changed that because it's honestly kinda weird to have 2 people from the same place be sages when everyone else is scattered around.
Either that, or she was just a placeholder, but why would she have a name then?

Yeah, that's where the introduction to Z-targeting was. You can't talk to her normally since she's so high off the ground, so you have to target her to talk to her. Otherwise, she just has incidental dialog about stuff.

It did. Both Legends Arceus and Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee had overworld sparkles, though Arceus also had a really loud sound effect that'd play that some people say makes it too easy to shiny hunt in that game
