+ My major project for this 2026 first quarter has been canceled, therefore I am now open for work - preferably under a part-time workframe, preferably gamedev.

The last row has an antlion with huge pincers, a man-eating giant flower, a mud-like construct with shiny stones, a classical wyvern-like dragon and a decaying zombie giant. A top down, aerial view of a city and its outskirts by a swampy river. The streets are filled with people, and the architecture has a distinctive early twentieth century aesthetic, with rich bent iron structures. A top-down view of a cathedral-like structure, with many columns. At the very center, a giant baldachin, firmly standing on twisted columns. The altarpiece is mounted in a rich baroque frame, surmounted by stained glass rose window. A tall, bat-headed vampire is guarding the altar, with bats flying around. A richly adorned pipe organ can be seen to the eastern gallery. Along the transept in front of the absis, two enclosed naves host a Pietà statue and a reliquiary. Many huge chandeliers hang above the central nave, and lots of candles are scattered around the cathedral. A few zombies and skeletons are marching towards the entrance, where a group of adventurers is preparing for battle, being surrounded. To the side of the absis altar, downward staircases lead to the crypt. A huge skeletal dragon guards a closed gate. An eerie light permeates the various locales, featuring grates, numerous walls of wax, monumental coffins and pillars. A Lich warlock is channeling dark magic by a sarcophagus. The Tower above houses a giant bell. A faraway city can be seen from the terrace, as a Griffin guards the bell beam. A secret room with four chandeliers features many tombs. There, a lady-like demon with bat wings floats above a marble coffin.

Hmm... You know, after getting to work with some of the folks we did on Claire a la Mode, there's not a whole lot left on my "Game Developer Bucket List". I guess "Make a Successful Game" is still unchecked? Ah well, we'll see what happens with that.

Played it over the Christmas and had the idea for the two "sisters" in one very soon after beating it.

Portrait of Alstroemeria drawn with Vernal reflected within, aside from the Pulse Edge (Vernal's little sword and the titular Edge of the game), Vernal fits entirely within Alstroemeria. Vernal is also given a darker and more naturalistic pallet that expresses her connection to reality (meanwhile her adversary is this weird corporeal imaginary being made from her Dad's memories of her or something, which is where her more vibrant pallet comes from). The sort of stained glass style design is based on the sort of popping glass noises the unreality portals make in the game. Theres a few things I feel I could have done better (mostly finding a way for the eye on Alstroemeria's side to be open, since it would keep making her face look so wide.
