I want to mark my ballot for #yeson50 here in California with a big red X over yes but I know better. Don’t do this. Just vote. Preferably a YES vote. As @governor.ca.gov has stated this is about defending democracy.
I swear on the train to Vancouver next week I’m going to write some fan fiction that she re-registers as a blue dog Democrat and the absolute meltdown that some in the far left have.

I’m glad we have Crazy @walshfreedom.bsky.social on our side but wouldn’t be funny to add her?
Oh my god???

Marjorie Taylor Greene: “I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career. I served under her speakership in my first term of Congress. And I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done. I wish we could get things done for our party.”

The negative posts about Dick Cheney’s passing really makes it easier to block people.

Let us be clear Dick Cheney isn’t without blame for Iraq. I spent many years disliking the Cheney name.

Lets not forget he was anti-Trump. I choose remember him for his final act.

I’ve voted twice to make independent redistricting the law of the land nationwide, and I would gladly do so again.

But I also live in the real world.

I’m voting YES on Prop 50.

Here’s why:

Man, I believe this is about the fourth fundraising text from the 571 area code in the past two weeks? I’m guessing it’s about the Virginia’s governor’s race.

However, the red machine just keeps trying to scam people because these keep coming.

Well, Zach Bryan just found himself a new fan. I don’t mind when a musician stays neutral to promote their art. However, I become a fan when they speak out and they speak out for the side I’m on.
Country legend Zach Bryan has released a song that puts country over his own bank account.

The backlash from country fans will be massive- they’ll force him off country radio like they did to the Dixie Chicks but he doesn’t need radio access anymore

For those who know the rural parts of the Sierra Nevada region lies a crossroads settlement of Sierraville where Hwy 49 & Hwy 89 intersect. Wonderful hot springs resort, BTW. The Prop 50 is a hot one in California. Even this red area lies two sides. I stand on the #yeson50. I hope you do too.

I imagine A paper and D paper is thickness. This is what sundowners go through, I’m not going to make dementia comparisons (not a doctor). They start arguing about specific things that only they remember about.
Trump to generals: "We have beautiful paper, the gorgeous paper. I said, 'throw a little more gold on it, they deserve it. I want the A paper not the D paper.' We used to sign a piece of garbage ... I want to use the big beautiful firm paper."

I would like to take this moment to remind those out there in the echo chamber that this vote will likely be the 4th vote needed for the Massie discharge petition. It may not solve all our problems but it’ll make more for Donald.

Great piece about the new fascination with cancel culture on the right. What I still don’t understand is the right has absolutely no foresight. They think MAGA is forever. @mattklewis.bsky.social ends it well:

Irony, meet guillotine.
This is the same issue that drove numerous stand-up comedians, young men, podcasters and Silicon Valley tech bros into the arms of Donald Trump in 2024. But now, conservatives are now aping the progressive scolds and speech cops, only with red hats. mattklewis.substack.com/p/cancel-cul...

I’ve been taking a posting break. Did go onto FaceCrack to continue to slowly delete my memories and do a daily check in. This was in my 10-years ago memories. This then applied to the left. Now it’s the right. Cancel culture is popular now on the right.

I’m going to be obnoxious and repost myself as a reminder to all of who want change. I think we need to support candidates who go after these three principles and these three only.
The best things anyone wants to defeat Trumpism is to repeat over and over again:

1) Trump is in the Epstein files (or covering it up).

2) Tax cuts for billionaires/corporations while your prices are rising, promises broken.

3) He’s taking away healthcare to pay for it.
In honor of Trump’s tariffs starting today, a roundup of recent Pennsylvania headlines to help you determine whether he is winning the trade war or lowering our prices like he promised.
