Tested out the chinese DeepSeek AI model that’s making some headlines. All as a LOCAL model with LMStudio (free local AI model hosting; lmstudio.ai).
Even as a local LLM it was distinctively Chinese and coy about “sensitive” (for China) topics.
There are other dodgy issues like an ID crisis.
