What I have to put up with on a daily basis:
QA: "This string crashed the UI"
Me: "Oh yeah, DB field only accepts 50 chars, that's 51. Will add a proper error for that"
QA: "Why did it accept this one then? <proceeds to post string 46 chars long>"
Me: <internal screaming>

Funny reading all this stuff about the storm in the UK again this morning. Dire warnings about snow and stuff like that, here where we are (close enough to Birmingham) it showed for about 30mins around 6pm then that was all washed away by rain. Nothing happens here :P

In the "we should really move" cat we have this. The LL also wants to increase the rent by £100 again this year. It costs us currently just under £10 a day to "heat" this place.
Seriously need to look for a place, but I have so much other stuff to deal with first.

Ugh, my complaints for this new year so far:
1) I have to go back to work tomorrow.
2) Had to defrost a car for the first time in yrs.
3) Think I'm going to spend about £1.5k in the 1st week already.
4) Having to go back to chasing up folks that I need info from.
Roll on 2027 already. 😺
