Some positive news. Word from friends on-the-ground in my Philadelphia hometown. Members of the LGBTQ+ community have taken to glitter-bombing those plain-close, masked #ICE agents they encounter—so people can ID them later (as glitter is impossible to even wash off).

Just a thought: if they can wear masks etc to kidnap people, why can’t we dress up as nuns/priests/other types of folks who are “taboo” to treat badly and run interference?

Please tell me I’m being paranoid because I’m feeling a little anxious/unsettled at the idea of going to Peru in September. I’m a white, cis, middle aged woman. It seems like I’d be fine. But my trauma brain is screaming at me to cancel. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ not sure what I’m afraid will happen.
