Making some headway on my kitbashed tervigon, and I’m happy with the progress. Still a lot to go, and it’s gonna be a bit before it’s actually glued together and not held by sticky tack!

Decided to take a secret third route to what I’d originally planned, greenstuff part of a hind leg and cut off the attached bits from the psychophage leg, & put some bits under the sac to prop it up more and have the weight resting on that. Also magnetized a pair of the scything and crushing claws.

Got some painting started on my neurolictor, and played more Ball x Pit. Going to have ramen for dinner, while watching the @luckybun.bsky.social vid on Silent Hill, which is a definite recommend. An overall great start to the week!

Here it is with the two sets of scything claws. If I glue the birthing sac to the base that’s load bearing enough. It’s a bloated beast, so it dragging itself through the terrain wouldn’t be out of place to me.

First time working with green stuff to turn some bits into a tervigon. Front legs are held with sticky tack for now as they’re not actually attached, just so I could get a sense of the thing once finalized. Was going to use 2 sets of claws for the torso, but one primed one is sorta load bearing

Will post pics when I’m further along, but I’ve done more work on the Norn and one of the Tyrannofex, and then primed the rest of the Tyranids I intend to paint (sorry 40 last termagants of my 120, you will remain on sprues for now).

Such a dreary, rainy day outside, and it looks like a high possibility of rain for the next week. Glad I got my priming done when I did. Gonna finish my morning coffees, and tackle some big bugs!

Sub-assembled my other Tyrannofex, and primed it and the other big bugs I’d gotten ready the other day. Today was gorgeous outside and I wanted to make the most of it. Can’t wait to paint these bugs up!

Got a norm emissary and one of my two tyrannofex in sub-assembly ready to prime. While the weather has been nice I’ve been trying to get a few more minis sub-assembled so I can prime a bunch at once, and then I can get back to painting while binging shows.

First playthrough of Silent Hill F done, that was fantastic. Looking forward to a subsequent one for additional documents and context, as I’ve read NG+ changes some things that aren’t available in the first playthrough.

I cannot stress enough how much Silent Hill F rules. I’m like eight hours in and I’m loving it so much. What a banger year for gaming.

Took the advice of a friend and downloaded the citadel paint app to actually inventory what I had instead of relying on my memory. There was only one I’d had an unintentional repeat of though, so that’s pretty good for me.

Gave zenithal priming a go for the first time, with some minis from the Dawn of War: Onslaught box. Looking forward to painting them for my custom chapter!

In the 2nd edition D&D campaign I’m in, a few of us drew from the deck of many things. I drew the card that gave me 1d4 wishes, of which I got 1. Still a great outcome given all the things in the deck. Carefully worded it so my stats would all be 18s. I’m sure I could have done something (c)
