A neurodivergent lover of Disney, history, nerdy shit in general. 🏳️‍🌈 Black Lives Matter and trans lives matter, women deserve rights, it’s not complicated. Could we make America like just a but less sucky? Oh and…go birds 🦅
I’m gonna say the ugly part out loud here…the only thing that fixes the shit situation furloughed and exempted federal employees are stuck in is money. Yea of course emotional support is also needed, but the cc companies, apartment complexes and grocery stores don’t take emotional support

I’d really love to know what a dude who cat calls women from their car hopes to accomplish, what I do know is few things feel better than flipping them off

Being a single woman, renting her own apartment, as an ace spectrum id-ing person…is financially impossible these days. Trying to get a job that’s stable, doesn’t make you want to slam your head into a wall, that pays well…also impossible

Tell me how’m I supposed to breathe with no air…can’t breathe can’t breathe with no air, it’s how I feel when the pollen’s out there, no air no air.
Got me out here in the flowers deep, tell me why the flowers tryin to kill me
It’s how I feel when they’re blooming out there

@npr.org @wamu.org I’ve been a loyal NPR and public radio listener since I can remember listening to it in my parents’ cars. I’ve always loved your factual reporting. I understand that fund drives are hard right now, it’s hard for you all to get funding not only because of the political climate but

@boom-studios.com @levgrossman.bsky.social I just finished the tradeback of Magicians: New Class…and that was a hell of a cliffhanger…I need more
March 7, 2025 at 1:15 AM
I just read the Magicians: New Class 5 comic arc in tradeback form, only to realize it was a 2020 publication (I assumed newer since I think I’m the first person to read my library’s copy) and IT ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER AND HAS NO MORE ISSUES #booksky #themagicians

Amen to that.
I think it would make a big difference in our health if we banned Pharma ads from America like the rest of the world does.

Ok, I wasn’t sure if I should get my hopes up for the snl 50 episode, it was, like perfect? I loved pretty much everything, every sketch, every musical guest, every joke about the history of the show, bravo, SNL

Even though Rubio promised life-saving aid wouldn't be interrupted, it has essentially been halted worldwide, interrupting HIV and TB treatment and threatening millions of lives. People are dying today because of these chaotic, inconsistent stop work orders. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/12/u...
USAID Lifesaving Aid Remains Halted Despite Rubio’s Promise
A new directive puts further exemptions on hold. Aid workers also say the U.S. government has made it impossible to pay partners around the world.

Can the part of my brain that controls how paranoid I am that I said something very weird in an attempt to be humorous…like chill the fuck out. Like how about we don’t make me think that people are pity friends with me? Or that as soon as I leave they’ll talk about how odd I am?

I fear I’m about to jump back into the rabbit hole that is the Magicians tv show, which on its first watch wrecked me so bad, somehow I feel like it’ll be sadder the second time

Ok, so, I’ve watched house MD several times, and I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. “It’s never a mannequin” is the “it’s never the lupus” of the true crime community. You’re in the woods…it’s not a mannequin. I’m assuming the brain is trying to protect the person seeing the body but still

This is my yarn store!!! They’re wonderful
Thank you, I’ll have plenty! I used to crochet a long time ago and just started knitting a few weeks ago.

It’s been a great way to stop doomscrolling and reflect 😌

I’ve finished a Sophie scarf and have started a sweater. (I’m waiting for more purple yarn & am casting on a new cardigan as I wait 🫣)
