This was 26 years(!) before SDL's Pirates used multi-directional boats AND was synced with an aquatic animatronic... wild!

My favorite story is that when Disney licensed Indiana Jones from Lucasfilm, they did NOT get the rights to use Harrison Ford's likeness (which is why the Indy onboard kinda-sorta looks and sounds like – but decidedly isn't – Harrison). That left Drew Struzan – who'd done the movie posters – stuck.
30 years ago today, INDIANA JONES ADVENTURE: TEMPLE OF THE FORBIDDEN EYE premiered at Disneyland. The attraction even got this immaculate poster art from the great Drew Struzan.
