I’ve been trying to think about why Stray Children felt so good to play this year of all years and was a special game to me beyond just how good the storytelling is that I realize that not many games tell you “no”, which might be part of the storytelling I guess.

The new Lumines has absolutely killer art direction precisely because it has zero fear of being perceived as corny. It will just throw every idea it has at you and maybe not all will land but at some point you WILL cry about how all humans are connected while matching broccoli and tomatoes onscreen

Couldn't get a solo A rank this time on the Arch Tempered Nu Udra quest in Monster Hunter Wilds but it was a real fun challenge quest. Should've given it a more serious shot sooner and glad it wasn't a pushover
