Today’s NYC moment: train was too full so I stood back to wait for the next one. At the very last second a shirtless maniac flew down the steps and jumped into the packed train right before the doors closed.

One of the things that stuck out to me the about Double Indemnity was that Barbara Stanwyck didn’t have to try hard at all to get Fred MacMurray to go along with the plan. Coming out of the bathroom in a towel and a few comments about the husband being a jerk and he’s like yeah let’s do it haha
