Always follow the money and never, ever think that Farage is on your side. He isn't.
92%: the percentage of funding for Nigel Farage's far-right political party Reform UK that comes from fossil fuel interests.

Across the world, anyone blaming immigrants, etc, it's all just a smokescreen to allow the rich to keep on getting richer by killing our planet.

Come now to see our 'twinkling stars' of Grass of Parnassus, in Lye Valley alkaline spring-fen now within Oxford (how does the fen survive do I hear you ask?).
Our Grass-of-Parnassus is now carpeting large areas of the west side of the Valley. Henry Taunt (1842–1922), an Oxford based photographer once described them as “like twinkling stars in the shadowy grass”. Seeing them now it's easy to understand what he meant!

mRNA vaccines can be modified and produced cheaply and quickly. This doesn't only help us respond to pandemics better, it enables researchers to rapidly test different treatment strategies for many diseases such as cancer. Cutting mRNA funding slows all of health research and makes us all sicker.

The majority of people —56% in the US!—are worried about climate change, but not activated.

Why not? Most feel helpless, hopeless, and don't know what to do. So more fear won't activate them. Rather, knowing what to do—and being invited to do it—will.

Where to start? With a conversation today. 🧵
