I'm too tired/exhausted to fight for myself or anyone else rn, other than MAD threads. Screaming to the void is hard, & dehumanizing enough, to do it during a disability flare might push me over the edge.

i just wished people realized this is a lifeline, not luxury, & that it was enough to matter.

He is high needs meaning he needs help with everything through out the day. I'm disabled myself. I have long covid which mostly entails POTs, uterine fibroids and chronic fatigue. But there are a lot of things my body struggles to do now which make it hard for me to work. When I was last working I ended up in the ER from overworking my body and decided it was best for me to stay home especially since my disabled child was already struggling so much with the caretaker he had at the time. I also have a trans child so we live in California where it's safest for her and my family in general as two of us are disabled. I'm working towards getting on disability at the moment as well as exploring options to be paid to be my son's caregiver as his behavior gets worse when I'm not the one caring for him.
