At least they FINALLY admitted why they refused to negotiate on the shutdown. First they lied and promised Dems they would “negotiate” this, but only AFTER they voted for the CR. But Dems were correct when they assessed that Republicans NEVER intended to extend these subsidies.

Is it also a good time to remind you of the concerted effort by individual states to put forth “fake” electors….and as yet no one has been held accountable for that little scheme. Who’s to say they don’t do it better this time around.

Everyone involved in this case, including the Border Patrol agent, should be dying of embarrassment being involved in such a ridiculous prosecution.

Instead of asking the Speaker of the House if he has a view on <critical separation-of-powers QOTD>, maybe reporters should start asking him if he reads any newspapers or otherwise informs himself on those matters to which we might think the Speaker of the House ought to be paying attention?

Soooo...maybe, just maybe, programs like Medicaid help low income households stay above the poverty line. Sounds & looks like the GOP wants to force a whole swath of low income Americans into poverty with their cuts. They deserve to lose their seats in Congress in the midterms.
