Good old #RoyalMail A small package, posted on Thursday last week, has just arrived. It was tracked 48hour delivery. It's also the first time we've had a postal delivery in this area since last Friday. Appalling service.

Seems as well as being incompetent, @RoyalMail are blatant liars. Email to say they tried to deliver a parcel this morning. We've both been home all day, can see if the van comes down the street (it didn't), and no card left to say they'd been. Disgusting service.

Today I had my first alcoholic drink (truly a tiny amount) in 10 days and it's gone straight to my legs. My journey upstairs to bed will be akin to Hillary and Tenzing climbing Everest. But not quite as cold.
