Same. There are so many *famous* businesses not hold accountable (Siemens, Deutsche Bank, to name a few) + individuals and their families who probably many of them are among AfD supporters/voters/members and walking happy-clappy next to us around DE.

Honest question: would you apply for a #job at a company in #Berlin that lists “Paid Uber Eats & Uber home when working late” as a benefit? Or would you consider it a red flag for very long working hours? Or would you ignore it because they offer “exciting and challenging work with real impact”?

that’s why those restaurants/cafés/bars in Berlin whose service is great or excellent stand out because that’s definitely not the norm. In that regard service culture is not quite…part of the DE culture. Luckily (and speaking only of Berlin) I’ve seen it improving in the past 11 years. 🤞🍀

Lunch break today in a small and cute café where the lady owner was smiling, was funny & in general had a great vibe. She also casually mentioned her Scholadeschneke & Zimtschneke were fresh out of the oven 😋🤤 Such places bring me a lot of joy in #Berlin
