Same. There are so many *famous* businesses not hold accountable (Siemens, Deutsche Bank, to name a few) + individuals and their families who probably many of them are among AfD supporters/voters/members and walking happy-clappy next to us around DE.

This sums up pretty well how devastating the housing crisis in Germany since such places are up for rent/sale. Have heard similar stories in Berlin.

that’s why those restaurants/cafés/bars in Berlin whose service is great or excellent stand out because that’s definitely not the norm. In that regard service culture is not quite…part of the DE culture. Luckily (and speaking only of Berlin) I’ve seen it improving in the past 11 years. 🤞🍀
