Pleased to share my new publication on the multimodal turn in the framing paradigm. This systematic review of visual framing studies (1979–2023) is now published in the Annals of ICA.

This article gives a phenomenal overview of the history and evolution of best practices in measurement invariance and differential item functioning -- I can't remember the last time I learned so much reading a single paper, highly recommended!

A Review of Some of the History of Factorial Invariance and Differential Item Functioning
The concept of factorial invariance has evolved since it originated in the 1930s as a criterion for the usefulness of the multiple factor model; it has become a form of analysis supporting the vali...

I'm not great at promoting work on social media, but I wanted to share a tutorial I wrote on Local Structural Equation Modeling (LSEM). Hope be helpful for those interested in exploring moderation effects (including measurement invariance) in SEM. (1 / 4) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...
Modelling nonlinear moderation effects with local structural equation modelling (LSEM): A non‐technical introduction
Understanding the differential strength of effects in the presence of a third variable, known as a moderation effect, is a common research goal in many psychological and behavioural science fields. I...
