We have an aphorism about it because we know every book gets judged by its cover. If your book has an ai cover I’m judging the contents to be the work of a hack and a fraud who can’t be bothered to cough up a few hundred bucks to make themselves look competent.
I will every day read a novel with a cover sketched out by an author regardless of skill over a novel with an ai cover. I actually will never ever read a novel with an ai cover. I don't care how good it is. you have diminished yourself completely in my eyes by using it and there is no coming back 🫡
