One in four of the IS Navy ships are lined up against Venezuela. One half of the Epstein emails mention Trump. Can anyone see a link?
A quarter of the entire deployed US Navy is now stationed in the Caribbean.

Ah yes & the scuttling off to get absolutely annihilated in a KGB villa happened directly after an emergency NATO meeting on the Skipal poisonings.

No one who backs Trump against the BBC is a patriot. If you are British then you should be defending one of Britain’s last remaining public assets. If you’re American you should not be supporting a traitor who demeans your nation and its reputation with his every word and action.

Labour tries to play into the Farage playbook but it’s really playing into Polanski’s hands. Farage’s core racists will stay with him, the others will go to the greens now that’s a vibrant option and labour’s right wing drift alienates them

Time to put Thames Water into immediate administration and take it back into public ownership
Thames Water tried to make MP pay its legal fees of up to £1,400 an hour, he asked the Court to put TW into special administration.

Blatant attempt to silence MPs.

TW paying £200m a year to advisers, charges customers for its failures.

Abuses will continue until execs held personally liable.

This is what the dog that didn’t bark really means
The notoriously litigious Donald Trump has been involved in over 4,000 lawsuits. The touchy litigant has even sued a network for editing an interview of someone else. But he has NEVER sued over allegations that his was a pedophile connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Hmm.

Most of the people who think Britain was better fifty years ago are dead, just like most of the people who can remember when the Telegraph was a reliable newspaper and not a propaganda rag.
Ah the 1970s.

Stagflation, three day weeks, collapsing infrastructure. Civil War in Northern Ireland. In yer face racism and bigotry everywhere. Bin strikes. Strikes in general. Blackouts. Industrial decline. Wage inequality. Dog crap everywhere. And households spent 25% of their income on food.

Zack on Trump, a litany of calm, accurate analysis of faults. This is the diplomatic version of truth telling.
I think this is the first time I've EVER heard a politician speak the unflinching truth like this instead of cowardly skirting round the issue.

In so doing, @zackpolanski.bsky.social speaks up for all those groups threatened by Trump's actions.

We need far more of this courage in politics.
Zack Polanski on President Trump, "It's difficult to call him anything other than a fool"

"This is sociopathic behaviour"

"He is toxic, misogynistic, racist"

"I'm not a fan of Trump"

We're in Newcastle with PMUK's Ian Gregg - former chairman of Greggs.
Speaking in a personal capacity, he said: "We hope the Chancellor uses this Budget to raise taxes on the wealthiest people first - who can most afford it - instead of ordinary people who can’t."

Faced with a mental health crisis amongst young men caused by the closure of youth clubs and meeting places the plan is now to close more social clubs and sports facilities. Get a grip.
Awful.
English councils plan to sell off social clubs and sports centres to balance books.

Social spaces lost forever. Libraries, community centres, school playgrounds, parks closed/sold as council funding cut in real terms to appease the rich.

Social vandalism.

Trump requests Bondi to reopen Epstein case. Specifically looking at Democratic links.

The benefit to Trump is no files can be released on an ongoing case.

What wonderful timing immediately prior to the house vote on releasing the files

Trump is evil incarnate

Pam Bondi will not have a license to practice law when this is all over. You can’t stay a bar member and agree to investigate only members of one political party for child sexual abuse but not members of the other. And, you can’t do it after previously saying no one else could be charged.
