I think Americans are realizing that democracy is a participation sport, and the the government is ours if we want it to be. I feel like we got complacent and hoped some other third party would do the work for us. Seems like we have to learn that lesson every generation.

Watching old Looney Tunes cartoons and Batman Returns got me thinking. We need to bring back bringing tomatoes and eggs to political speeches. Whenever Trump, Bondi, or any MAGA says something stupid we just throw tomatoes at them.

I know we were cooked as a country when I started seeing more people say, with a straight face, that Mr Potter was the real hero of the film who did nothing wrong.
