This morning, the Joint Budget Committee approved Governor Polis’s emergency request to keep SNAP and WIC programs afloat during the shutdown, investing $10 million in food banks and pantries and extending nutrition assistance through November.

I’m deeply disappointed that the veto override of SB25-086 did not succeed.

This was a bipartisan bill to hold social media companies accountable. Its failure is a win for Big Tech, not for the families who asked us to protect their kids.
