Living in a country that makes me grit my teeth harder everyday due to the mounting darkness of it all, it’s nice to know I can come home and lose myself in the beautiful vocals and music of @poetsofthefall.bsky.social - no one does it better than Marko and Ollie. Thanks guys for the hope & peace!

Kudos and cheers to the National Park Rangers who hung a sign of distress from the heights of El Capitan at Yosemite National Park! I think we all need to join in solidarity and start hanging our flags upside down until something is done to stop this insanity.

I've told this story before, but I remember explaining "non-binary" to my 70-year-old dad who'd never heard the term and was unfamiliar with the idea. He considered a moment, then said "good for them. You get to decide who you are, no one else."
Older cis people who respect trans people are so fucking cool and they often have really wise points about it.
So many older people have told me something like "I don't understand it but I think you know yourself better than I do." I wish more people adopted that approach to others, generally.
