I was a content writer before I retired. I feel this in every atom of my body. It’s why I’m glad I only do an occasional edit now. But it helped me appreciate writers who keep making beautiful tables, like Elie, even more.
I fucking hate writing sometimes. It's like somebody hands you a tree and an axe and says "I need a table by dinner time, and make it pretty." Like, fuck you. Who the fuck does this for a living? It's fucking stupid.
