I guess with the major influx of new people exiting the bad place I should share what I do! I make animals! Felt animal portraits, animal ornaments, animalpatches, animal stickers, custom pet portraits. All animals all the time! 🐡 But I mostly post about my cats and knitting 🧶
Finally found a place to get 5 yards of felt at a time instead of a full 10 yard bolt! I usually get 3-4 yards but I can work with 5.
And only $1 more per yard instead of double for not taking a full bolt!
Here's hoping the shipping is somewhat close to their guestimate and not a nasty surprise 🤞

After putting it off almost to the last minute, but not quite! I finally submitted our spring art fair application. Gonna do one spring show, then maybe both winter shows and maybe try for 1-2 travel shows as of right now. Luckily only need to decide for sure about spring right now.

When you're actively trying to avoid knowing how much the gardening cost and end up having to write the check. And its twice what you thought it was😕
To be fair It was a lot of work. Whole yard was out of control from the rain and they did a really good job. Way better than we could have done.

Glad this is a 3 day weekend because the 2nd half of next week is going to be a lot. Almost tempted to work Monday and make it a floating holiday but I know I won't have the pieces I need to work on what I need to finish until Wednesday at best 🫤

Finally had a day after work that I didn't have to just crash when I get home so I was finally able to take the time to make a art show re-stock list and yikes 😬 It's massive.
Now to avoid being a procrastinator and start making all the things sooner rather than later.

I thought doing my license renewal with mandatory eye exam over a month in advance would be plenty of time to avoid issues. My closest location doesn't have any appointments until the day after my license expires 🙃
Least I've got other options not too far but this is gonna be harder than I thought.

Happy New Year! Knitting and reading were definitely the activities I leaned on to get me through the shit show that was 2025. I finished at least 5 knitting projects and I'm close on another 2 🧶 I read 94 book and hity page goal of 36,500 pages on the way to the New Year's party last night 📚
