I was content generalist for 30+ years; owned small businesses in a little bit of everything, now retired/disabled. 3D artist, anims, programming, audio/video, photography, etc. Anti-corp and anti-billionaire-- we all do what we gotta do, but we still "do"
I find it so weird that so many self-diagnosed autistic people have an emotional sense for social justice...
... while every diagnosed autistic person I've ever met don't have strong emotional investments for social justice, especially toward things they are not participants in.

Always interesting.

Got curious, tried to see if AI could actually write more than 12 lines of code without fucking up... used one of those Auto multi-model things where it switches models based on its task.

I was expecting disaster... it was able to write a whole gallery and photo editing application to my specs.

Universal Music Group went from suing one of the big AI music generators... to partnering with them.

And that's probably where all AI music is going to go.

I don't like that AI is being used to replace people.

But you also know what I don't like?

That AI can't do proper topology for a model. If AI could replace me, sitting there, mindlessly retopoing a model... I would 100% embrace that shit. The one thing I'd like AI to replace and it can't.

"Let's push back on AI normalization!"

People are wayyyyy too late on that train-- I don't know if people have noticed, but it has long been normalized... it is just the anti-AI people yelling at each other these days.

AI is everywhere it should never be... but you can't roll back the clock.

American politicians are so old their first campaign posters were carved into cave walls.

One of the biggest curses of my autism is that I'd rather detonate a nuke in a populated city than knowingly/outright be dishonest with someone. And I would consider the casualties an acceptable cost.

So, do I care about people's discomfort when I speak?

No. I do not.

Most people will die in the same tax bracket they were born in-- for better or worse.

Facts.

I just wanna say... years later, I still love my Tourbox Neo. One of my best creative-tech purchases ever.

People be like Adobe subscription is so expensive.

I'm like... whut?

It's like $500/year for 10+ apps. If you can't make 500/year in a profession... I dunno, maybe you're in the wrong profession? Or maybe you just suck at running a business?

I was always the "I'd rather pay higher taxes to help people" person...

And now that I'm older, and need the assistance myself... I can take it without feeling like a miserable hypocrite.

What a lot of people don't realize... your health don't last, and your insurance hates you.

The USA is like, "Let's only take care of ourselves, fuck the rest of the world!"

Then at the same time, the USA is also like, "Fuck the people of our own country too! Let's take care of billionaires instead!"
October 28, 2025 at 8:38 PM
History will be written by AI, made biased by billionaires.

People think "history won't be kind to X".

What you live, won't exist as history.

Don't really care about AI either way...

However...

If we actually cared about climate we wouldn't have private vehicles or gaming GPUs (hundreds of millions of GPUs spread out individually is every bit as bad as millions of them in a facility powering AI).
October 24, 2025 at 3:45 AM
I still have one, primary political opinion.

Kill all billionaires.

Everything else fixes itself after that.

People who say money doesn't buy happiness has never had money in their life.

Money gets you a stable home, it gets you a sense of security, it gets you food, it gets you transportation for basic needs, it gets you better medical care, etc.

Without those things, happiness is rare and fleeting.

I wish I could make games like I did in the 80s.

..... with the same, child-like innocence I had while making them.

People keep trying to tell me Blender is an alternative to the pro tools I use...

But what they don't understand is... Blender is absolute ass.

Anyone wanna shoot up some schools?
October 9, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Look, it is me... existing into yet another day where I don't care about the political opinion of any celebrity, author, or whatever.

Weird, how easy that is.

Art has never really been really profitable outside of packaging it up in some business wrap and selling it as a part of corporate offering to consumers.

You're either trying to sell your "soul" and starving... or "selling your soul" and succeeding.

Even as an art unicorn, I had a business to run.

Games need more ass and less class.
..... and I'm not talking about the adult ones.

The joys of getting old... having flashing lights in your eyes like your brain suddenly decided to fuck off and have a rave party... a really slow one.

Imagine people thinking "they have Constitutionally protected rights" as masked men from their own government are dragging people out of cars, homes, and buildings.

A piece of old paper doesn't protect you from fascism.
