（感觉比较早的著作出现这种问题也正常，似乎十九世纪到二十世纪初这种不太能实验的学科的写作风格都是这样的，提出一个理论并且罗列事实（因为很多经典的人类学和民俗学著作也是这个思路）；而（个人印象，不知是否准确）学术写作的逻辑变得更科学大概要等到四五十年代并且是从哲学写作逐渐扩散来的（？）
不过确实很多更晚的书写成这样就比较不好了

很多科学，心理学，社会学的畅销书，包括并不限于自私的基因，乌合之众，裸猿，弗洛伊德时期的精神分析，所有推荐某种特定饮食方式的营养学畅销书，说好听点是“用科学和理性的外衣包裹了很多缺乏严谨证据的推演和猜想，通过选择性展示证据绕过peer review展示自己偏颇的bias，在引用科学证据制造理性氛围的过程中暗搓搓加入很多没有证据的扩大解释和尚未证实的逻辑推导”
说难听点就是伪科学。
