Exactly…stay informed, convince those you can to get informed and then fucking vote…both general and primaries if your current representative is a coward.
FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

Is it just me or is Mamdami is making Trump look very small is this press conference? He comes off as very likable and charismatic counter to media narratives. I know this kind of bullshitty analysis, but it seems a bit striking to me.

I have close family & friends who did multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and the South Korean border who have problems with people who use “warrior” to describe them or themselves in a fully public setting. Not saying I know this applies to all veterans, but man this seems over-the-top.

I love that Coach Simon is out there grinding at a school that has some severe disadvantages in the NIL era. He has a great eye for talent, just had some horrible injury luck the past two seasons.
Todd Simon collects another commitment from 6'5" combo guard, Javon Ruffin, out of the University of Colorado. He'll have one year of eligibility. He had a solid freshman year but battled multiple knee injuries. He's a solid passer and ball handler, below average shooter. Should contribute heavily.
