I understand this sentiment, and when the issues are life and death levels of importance, I'm on board. For example in regards to our current political, social, environmental, and geopolitical issues.

For example, when you come across someone who has changed their mind based on a technically incorrect understanding of something, the urge to correct their misunderstanding is counterproductive if they are now on the same page you are.

It's not Trump that needs a message sent. He knows what he's doing. He doesn't need told. We (the American people) have to have a message sent to us. The only thing that stops him, in my opinion, is foreign involvement or a large, long, dangerous general strike.
I really don't like to say it, but it's time for all American allies to force close ALL American military bases in their respective countries. Maybe that would send a powerful enough message to the Felon in chief.
