I've been thinking about this a lot lately, but "The Zone of Interest" is one of the best Holocaust movies I've ever seen. The scenes of Commandant Hoess's family living their "best" life on the other side of the wall from Auschwitz are nightmarish. We never see the horror, but the sounds...!

It's raining so hard and so sideways that even the planters under the eaves are getting water! Saves me getting out the hose. SoCal winter is finally here!!!

It's finally cool enough to put the blanket back on the bed. This one makes me think about the guy who fell asleep at the down comforter factory, and woke up to several thousand that didn't get fully filled. "Uh... it's a new invention! A down-filled... uh... blanket!" Soft, light, warm. Nice save!

It's hard to see (I was trying to be discreet) but this guy has a Trump flag and an American flag on the back of his truck. I don't care about the T flag, that's already a violation, but both flags are tattered and ratty. That's so disrespectful! But "MAGA are patriots!" Not.

The left wasn't interested in silencing Charlie Kirk because most of the people on this planet, left, right and in between, didn't know who he was. He was an internet "influencer" who herded sheep. Fall is in the air here in Southern California. It's 83 degrees, the sun is hot, but the breeze has a coolness to it. It's my favorite time of year. Fall just kind of cools down to winter, which slowly warms to spring, which heats up to summer. Fall just happens, one day summer is just gone.
