🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

"The BBC is one of a handful of top class global new organisations. The vast majority of the time it reports news accurately and well.

Imagine a world where we had to rely on the likes of Fox News and GB News to find out what’s going on?"

The BBC is facing a coordinated, politically motivated attack. With these resignations, it has given in | Jane Martinson
The corporation should have stood up to the Telegraph, Trump and the Tories. Now, its enemies know how little it takes for it to fold, says Jane Martinson, professor of financial journalism

Huge congrats to Rob Jetten, our D66 friends, and VVD in the Netherlands! 💛

Proof that hope, optimism and liberal values can beat the fear and division of the populist right.

Let’s do the same here in the UK and wipe the smile off Farage’s face at the local elections in May.

As the EU’s new Entry/Exit Scheme finally rolls out, British businesses face further chaos — and it’s totally avoidable.

The Liberal Democrats are demanding urgent action to stop trade grinding to a halt.

Remember when Nigel Farage said, 'If we vote to Remain on June 23rd, it will be the end of the steel industry in this country. It's as simple as that.'

Now we all know Brexit’s to blame for the crisis facing UK steel – it’s time for politicians to be honest and reverse it

With British industry faltering, the excuse that the public wants this is risible. Parliament must force Starmer to act, says Guardian columnist Simon Jenkins

It's clear to everyone the BBC is giving Nigel Farage and Reform far too much coverage. It is dangerous and it has to stop.

Spain's welcoming and liberal approach to immigration is paying economic dividends.

There's a lesson here for the UK. With an ageing population & an unwillingness to do certain low paid jobs, immigration is essential to the UK economy & culture.

I'm boycotting the state banquet to send a message to both Donald Trump and Keir Starmer that they cannot close their eyes and wish away the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Donald Trump can stop this catastrophe in Gaza and get the hostages released.

We are delighted to join other democracy campaigners who believe, as we do, that overseas constituencies would give Brits living abroad the dedicated representation in Parliament they deserve.

As a result of the anti-European ideology that motivated not only the choice to leave the EU but also the nature of post-Brexit arrangements, some students, especially the less well-off, miss out on the opportunity to study abroad. Yet studying abroad can aid and bring so many opportunities
How Brexit has made studying abroad less accessible

Once again for those at the back ...
Refugees are not illegal immigrants. Fleeing war, oppression, starvation or the impact of climate change is not illegal. It is a universal human right. It's only AFTER a case has been officially investigated that a judgement can be made on its merits. Not before.
