1 Getting the old blood pump out of its winter rest.
Normally I’m in the “warm-up/fat-burning” range here, since I’ve technically already maxed out the limits of the training equipment. Lowering the workout routine by a third during winter apparently fucks everything up though.

So the pasta conversation returned today, and my colleague finally figured out why it was so difficult for him to make it.

My colleague and I settled for the name fish rat because it has a mild smell and flavor to it that I can only describe as fishy. 😆

Made nutria for the first time today, and now I’m trying to explain the taste to my colleague - which turns out to be really difficult, because I don’t actually know anything local I can compare it to.
Nutria are an invasive species in our area, and yet their meat is rarely sold on a wider scale.

It's hard to grasp how large this grouper is until you see it in comparison to the ship's toilet on the left.
This appears to be an Atlantic goliath grouper or 'itajara' (Epinephelus itajara). They can reach 800 lbs (350 kg) & 8 feet long (2.5 m)
