What’s that in the upper left corner 👀
It was a lovely first week of the new year, at least where my tabletop was concerned. What did you play to ring in the New Year?

it’s been a few days of trying (not counting the waiting when i flagged the bigoted reviews but the mod cleared it) and they are still up…
how would i actually escalate this?
do i open a ticket, or contacting people at Steam / Valve unrelated to moderation?
what do you do when reporting doesnt work?
please help me report these Steam reviews (that ridicule my SA) made to my games. steam moderators cleared them as acceptable (so i can’t flag them) but i don’t think calling me a slur & bringing up my r*pist is acceptable.

Wrote a new piano piece. The sound is bad, as is my playing, but I like the composition itself. I call it “Rumenjak” (Yolk)

LOK/ABDEC (by @letibus.bsky.social):
I didn't play every book by Letibus (yet), but this such a great composition each time. From the tutorial to the post game puzzles, even secret puzzles, everything is very high quality, even if a bit hard sometimes.

LOK Digital (by @letibus.bsky.social and @icedropgames.bsky.social):
I knew that I had to play this after the puzzle book (more below), even before I played the puzzle book. I'm really impressed by the ingenosity behind what the base had, but the digital version really add a new layer ...

Thanks for the shout-out! The google translation is surprisingly not bad actually haha
@oldcaptainwzj.bsky.social wrote a review of Herd! As always, I think he's is very on point, seeing clearly the intentions of the design and how well they were actualised. The review is in Chinese - I'll post the Google translation in comments below.

reintroducing the complex maneuvers that this game has already avoided as much as possible.

Therefore, I ultimately feel that this game is "just right" in every aspect, and it is precisely this delicate balance that makes it so elegant. Thus, I would conclude:

**Highly Recommended**
January 1, 2026 at 12:08 PM
Without adding new mechanics, I find it difficult to imagine a better way to achieve this, because making the difficulty easier would sacrifice some of the excellent and challenging puzzles, while forcing more complex puzzles might backfire,

a change in the direction of exploration rather than a deeper exploration continuing the main storyline.
However, this game's exploration of this system is thorough, and the puzzle design is solid, minimizing the chaos of slider movement and striking a perfect balance between logic and complexity.
January 1, 2026 at 12:08 PM
The expansion of the mechanics in the latter half is also relatively predictable; similar developments have been seen in many other games. The hidden content, a traditional feature of the series, feels more like a "hidden side quest" added alongside the main storyline,

Looking back at the entire game, it must be admitted that *Herd* isn't as creatively outstanding as some of Blaž's previous works. Firstly, there's almost no element of guessing the rules, and secondly, the slider mechanism itself is very familiar.
January 1, 2026 at 12:06 PM
The game's mechanics clearly combine the idea of "slider" with the interactive mechanisms of some board games, and the design is so simple and natural that it's easy for the human brain to simulate.
January 1, 2026 at 12:06 PM
All this is to illustrate that **even if the core mechanics remain unchanged, the medium of a puzzle game will affect the "feeling" of solving it**. The core of this game, and the "feeling" the designers most wanted to present, is the physical tactile sensation of "playing chess."
January 1, 2026 at 12:06 PM
However, humans also have weaknesses compared to computers in terms of accuracy and reliability, and this game does indeed explore a mechanism that could potentially be better implemented programmatically.

—this is one of the charms of print media.

Of course, I could give many more examples. Ultimately, electronic programs are "static," only providing fixed input methods and feedback (output), but human imagination is limitless.
