I'd like media to stop showing Canada election maps that show massive areas of the country as solid red or blue and show instead what the colours look like based on popular vote, some reddish purples, blueish purples...Yes, there is polarisation, but that imagery feeds it and stokes resentment.

It’s very important to not only see a woman of Afghanistan as a survivor and victim, but to recognise them as leaders. They are leading this resistance. They are the frontline human rights defenders of Afghanistan.
