My level of frustration is high as I have my shoulder in a sling for another 4 weeks and all I want to do is get into the garden! I checked on last years tulips yesterday, not expecting anything and….everypot has tulips coming up. *happydance

An outstanding day in the garden today. In other news I Must stop buying plants online. In addiction (haha that was supposed to say addition but ‘they’ for it right) I have also started trawling the ‘rescue’ section of the plant stores

New art supplies arrived today. Just a scribble to see how they work and if I can control them…Do I love them? Yes. Can I get them to do what I want after 20mins of working with them? Nope 🤣

On a whim, late last year, I bought ‘Ginger Kisses’. She was planted at the wrong time of year, in drought conditions. What a star! (Much more vigorous than expected, I will have to keep an eye on her next year)

Off on a hike/tramp/ramble today. While it will be fun to get out into the wild again, what is also fun is the planning, the drive, the company, and the packing of snacks; it’s always about the snacks.

Lemon and lime rose and a Limelight hydrangea. I turned my back on the garden for a couple of weeks an me it rained and now there are weeds everywhere but the actual plants are growing well too. 😍

About to hop on a plane for 4 nights away with friends at a beach in the far north. Housesitter/dogsitter organised. Last load of dishes on, place tidied after the Xmas inundation and I’m just about ready to relax.

Post flood we got the whole inside of the house painted, and it’s delicious, but I’ve decided to change one room. This means many more trips to Resenes to see if I need half, full or double. The addiction is real.
