JD Vance is the new Liz Truss. A travesty that he is the last to meet with the Pope.

Wouldn’t @mcuban.bsky.social be an interesting replacement for our current HHS Secretary? Someone who wants to aggressively, and yet sanely, challenge the status quo…

One-sided choices from fear and ignorance. Marginalizing all experiences but white men, many who promote division, is the antithesis of Hegseth’s claim of a united, focused military. This disgusts me as a Southerner exposed to diversity promoting unity. Understanding and empathy are key to success.
Who’s In and Who’s Out at the Naval Academy’s Library?
An order by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office resulted in a purge of books critical of racism but preserved volumes defending white power.

Can I just say WTF? Republicans are beyond the pale in using abusive tactics and now they complain when Dems finally stoop to dirty pool too? When good old Mitch held up the Supreme Court nominations, gloves are OFF!! 🧵

Do you think our president is trying to play real world Risk with this talk of spheres of influence? If so, have they realized the easiest strategy is to take over Australia and hunker down till everyone else destroys one another before sweeping out and conquering the world? 😂

While I applaud any elected Republican taking a loud, public stance against current exec policy, this is hypocrisy or utter blindness. How can he speak out against authoritarianism and “bullies” while he lodges “yay” votes in favor of authoritarian action? Shocking. Worthless. A puff of air.

Isnt it funny how it all circles back to the personal grudges of a man who can’t stand losing???

Am I objective in my opinion? I think so despite my obvious connection to offshore wind. Ask me why, if you can’t do the research yourself…
Decades Ago, Columbia Refused to Pay Trump $400 Million
A quarter-century ago, the university was looking to expand. It considered, and rejected, property owned by Donald Trump. He did not forget it.

“Protection rackets” is the correct phrase. Organized crime syndicates have “protection rackets”—it’s not true foreign policy. It’s beneath the world’s leading democracy to publicly demand gratitude in exchange for support. It makes us look WEAK, not strong.
How Trump Insists on Thanks From Zelensky and Other Foreign Leaders
It’s not unusual for presidents to want to hear some words of gratitude. But the friction usually happens behind closed doors.

So demoralizing that this law firm under Paul Weiss has stained his profession. This is the law firm that assisted Thurgood Marshall in Brown v Board of Education, and represented Gitmo detainees. How far they have fallen.
It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.
