Found an additional graphic that gets even more of these quotes together.

I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.

Over 1,000 Ubisoft workers around the world have walked off the job.

In response to a return-to-office mandate, layoffs, and the cancellation of several games, workers launched a three-day strike.

The workers walked out in response to five French unions issuing the strike call.
Ubisoft workers are on strike: 'We are treated like children'
The strike comes after the publisher revealed plans to cut up to 200 jobs and ordered remote workers back into the office

It is insane how inevitable this felt - that the industry has forced itself into a corner ensuring that every FPS team has to work on a competitive service shooter that has a 99% chance of crashing on launch.
Wildlight (Highguard) lays off staff according to a LinkedIn post

"Unfortunately, along with most of the team at Wildlight, I was laid off today.

This one really stings as there was a lot of unreleased content I was really looking forward to that I and others designed for Highguard."

ill say this though: doubling down after firings feels uh. yeesh.

whats going to be more annoying, the armchair game devs making 'post-mortems' about what went wrong with Highguard, or the commenters who were loud about wanting the game to fail going "um it was destined to fail from day one" in order to alleviate any guilt they might have over people getting fired

RIP Robert Tinney (November 22, 1947 – February 1, 2026), the artist famous for his playful covers for Byte magazine, a hobbist magazine that ushered in the microcomputing age from the mid-70s through the 90s. I'm honored to have included his work in my own art collection.

introducing anapaite, one of vester's dwarf handmaidens and his Big Crush. she's from a well-ranked but low-income dwarf family so this is a great job for her, though she's still lowest ranked among the jewels in his service. she's very nice and thinks vester is cute! like a puppy.
