i feel stupid please check me - i have a pet feeder that is powered via usb but not into the feeder, that’s a standard no i’m in canada. can i use it in a different region? like if i take it to england can i use a usb wall charger there with the cable? am i stupid

i’ve had to explain relegation to so many friends who don’t get it and i’m like right the base assumption of sport is what we have to shift before the value of relegation is obvious and it’s mind blowing to everyone every time
One of the things that personally drives me crazy in the U.S. is how youth sports/athletic activities went from a part of the public good (municipal leagues and fields! rec centers! public parks!) to a privatized, expensive, highly competitive, highly structured pursuit for wealthy kids’ résumés
NBC ran a piece where Mary Carrillo went to Norway to find out why they're so good at the Winter Olympics and i was yelling BECAUSE IT'S COLD THERE
then she went to a little tiny ski jump for kids and was like "it's free, equipment is provided, & they don't emphasize results"

hey i really wish antibiotics came with a list of COMMON side effects that are considered totally normal once i go in and ask about them, in a panic, full of societal shame that nobody deserves to hold ಠ_ಠ and in this case it’s just women’s health again ಠ_ಠ that’s all!

I have straight-up told two clients at this point that I charge more to edit an AI draft than to just write the whole thing myself, and they are positively confounded by this, but in both cases they ended up just paying me the usual rate to write the whole thing myself.
