The ICE agent who murdered Renee Good was part of Trump’s ICE, Biden’s ICE, and Obama’s ICE.
NEW FROM OUR PUBLISHER: Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker’s "Abolish Trump's ICE" language is a “bad apples” argument dressed in a trenchcoat.

The opposite of a leader.
NEWS: While Hakeem Jeffries has announced he's opposing the DHS/ICE funding bill tomorrow, his team is not whipping the vote. Several frontliners are expected to vote yes. There's a difference in leadership between personal vote decisions & unifying the caucus.

Jeffries Won’t Whip Vote Against ICE Funding - The American Prospect
While the House Democratic leader announced personal opposition to a funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security, he won’t pressure his colleagues to do the same.

This is a small thing but I’m glad Frost pushed back since I’ve literally never heard anyone do it.
WILL CAIN: Joining me now is Democrat Florida congressman Maxwell Frost

FROST: It's "Democratic" congressman

Wake up babe, new speculative 2026 Senate map just dropped. Question for you all: Can Democrats flip two of these five to regain the majority: Maine, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, or Alaska?
January 12, 2026 at 10:21 PM
“Polarization”, “divisiveness”, etc are the words of cop-outs and cowardice, refusing to actually name the problem and coating everything as a “both-sides” problem.
We need less research framing the problem facing our country as "polarization" and more research framing the problem as "anti-democratic radicalization".

JD Vance out here saying that Renee Good was part of coordinated left wing attacks on law enforcement and that we should be sensitive to the ICE agent who murdered her cause he's been injured in the past...are we gonna tolerate this level of gaslighting?

Democrats need to run on erasing every cent of student debt.
I’m sure this will be popular. 5 million people are in default right now. The Dept of Ed estimates as many as 10 million by end of next year because of job market.

Yeah let's not examine why we fucked up last time this is a surefire recipe for success in the future
The Democratic National Committee will not publicly release its autopsy of the 2024 presidential campaign, party officials said, a reversal intended to avoid a contentious reckoning over the party’s failure.

Trump on past Democratic presidents: "A CORRUPT and dangerous man who DESTROYED the economy and HATED our country"

Newsom: "We should all be more like Ronald Reagan"
🤡
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

Democrats allowing Trump to be the one to do this was a massive political blunder
🍃 SCOOP 🍃

President Trump is preparing to order his administration to dramatically loosen restrictions on MARIJUANA.

The order would reclassify cannabis from Schedule I — the same level as heroin — to Schedule III — the same level as Tylenol and codeine and some steroids.
Trump seeks to cut restrictions on marijuana through planned order
The president is expected to attempt to classify marijuana similar to some common prescription painkillers and other drugs.

There has never been an election season more primed to elect progressive Democrats than 2026. That's why we need to promote them as much as possible. Peggy Flanagan is running for Senate in Minnesota and is endorsed by Bernie Sanders.

Ban private equity from buying up homes, ban ownership of more than one home by non-US residents that is being used as an investment property.
So what is the easiest, most realistic way to fix housing costs?
December 10, 2025 at 6:15 PM
I love it when some low level Republican is like…”uh crap, we ran on lowering costs, we should maybe,
Uhh, do that?” - like bro, your party will spontaneously combust before it does anything to help working people.
December 10, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Everyday I see shit that would win Democrats like 50 house seats if they bothered to message on it aggressively
Duffy: "I don't have a plan to reduce costs."

Dont tell me this guy is our best choice just because he reaaally wants to be President and looks like he plays one on TV.
Gov. @gavinnewsom says he disagrees with Mayor @zohrankmamdani about the need for a wealth tax on billionaires, which he is “adamantly against” - says Dems are a “big tent party” with both views.

Was actually thinking this. Yeah after 2-4 years of clownish fascism voters will put Dems back in power, but if it’s just the usual do-nothing corporatists leading the party, we’ll just get Trump 2.0 one or two election cycles later.
I'm not an 'there won't be elections' doomer. I'm a long-term doomer. I think the pendulum will swing back and Dems will regain power and then face an even more hostile press than before and won't have the votes to restructure the courts and we'll be in this awful cycle for the rest of my life.
December 5, 2025 at 8:00 PM
My hot take is I would rather ultra-conservative Dems just switch parties and be done with it:

1) this ends the pretense that they're liberal/left

2) it allows them to be defeated by a likely more progressive candidate on the Dem line
Trump pardoned Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas (an repeated progressive target in Dem primaries, he narrowly survived multiple times) from bribery and conspiracy charges.

Cuellar just thanked him profusely on social; obvious questions as to whether Cuellar switches parties.

What’s is gonna take for House Dems to kick this useless weakling out of leadership
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.
