MAGA outrage about male cheerleaders in Minnesota illuminates the fact that cheerleading at the professional level is ridiculous. Must 70,000 screaming fans be reminded to cheer their team to victory? The fact is this: Pro "Cheerleaders" are merely objects to be ogled, and that's anachronistic.

I know there are issues with my Governor Newsom, but at least he hasn’t set barbed wire traps to drown children.
