I know how hard it is to make a podcast - and even harder to stick with it (which is why I never start!)

And Sharon is making the world a better place with hers - happy birthday Boring Books for Bedtime!

RIP Ace. He was the real rocker in Kiss.

And honestly, that's not the way I thought he'd go out..

Here's a bunch:
CanCon:
Mae Moore - Dragonfly
Zahalan - Mary-Lu Zahalan
Plumtree - Predicts the Future

And these should be hailed as classics:
The Sugarplastic - Bang the Earth is Round
Wendy and Lisa - Eroica
a poll idea that just popped into my head: since we've collectively been doing 90's nostalgia for awhile as a culture, what's your secret/stealth best 90's album? not something necessarily widely super critically beloved but is nonetheless great and defining for you?

one song that instantly makes me air drum no matter where I am is "Can't help you anymore" - glad to see Sugar is back!

Sophie B Hawkins 2nd album Whaler was released when I worked at Sam the Record Man in Winnipeg and found myself playing it in store A LOT. Learned later Stephen Lispon produced it, so that explains that. #cdfriday

I always felt Joni's Wild Things Run Fast was her most positive but also just as sly and witty after falling in love and marrying Larry Klein
It's a given in the music industry that "I've fallen in love!" albums are usually regrettable, and "I've gotten a divorce!" ones often have some of the artist's best work. So question for the group, what are the best "I've fallen in love!" albums?

Happy 40th Jem and the Holograms - not only did it have strong female roles, relationships and positive messages, the music was truly outrageous. I also met my wife because of it so it always be one of the best shows ever. ❤️
