I’m encouraged that this being discussed at a global level but the article is pretty depressing. About time countries implemented some of the changes being discussed. I don’t understand why we can’t mandate clear plastic and standardisation whilst reducing demand.

I typically stay away from politics on social media but within this report by Led by Donkeys, there’s a stat which makes me incredibly uncomfortable: The gap between the rich and the poor in the UK, with the exception of the USA is now the highest in the developed world 🌍
