You're a goddamn hero.

You can tell how deeply rotted these people’s moral centers are because they actually think as they’re talking, “the American people will EAT UP this bomb-ass retort,” rather than “people will find it morally unpalatable when I tell them to ignore child rape because it’s good for their 401ks.”
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

Love this guy. Curling lawyers forever.
Team USA Curler Rich Ruohonen:
"We'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention what's going on in Minnesota...I am a lawyer, as you know, and we have a constitution... and what's happening in Minnesota is wrong. There's no shades of gray. It's clear."

Good luck buying lettuce and eating it in your new house.

RIP Fred Smith, bassist of Television.

Today I learned that Patti Smith dated both Television Fred Smith and MC5 Fred "Sonic" Smith, but I'm about 40 years too late for this information to help me look cooler.

Who would want less of that? I will never understand.

Seriously, it’s not that hard. You drink something that tastes like Gatorade mixed with seawater, spend a day pooping, have an absolutely lovely nap, immediately eat everything in sight, and continue on your merry way not dying of colon cancer.

Perhaps less “whom the subject engages” and more “whom the subject benefits.”

Grew up mostly in North Jersey and totally cosign. This is the heartland of the now-extinct Moderate Classy Republican. This lady was my parents’ Member of Congress:

Dear men,
This isn't mentoring.

Regards,
Women.
Yale prof David Gelernter defends his letter urging Epstein to hire "v small goodlooking blonde" student by saying that he was "keep[ing] the potential boss's habits in mind."

This creep shouldn't be allowed anywhere near students.

In that case, you will get a decision (consults angle of the sun)… wait, when is Halley’s Comet due again? (Scribbles calculations…)
Yeah, it’s not coming soon.

Is that the Superior Court groundhog or the Commonweath Court groundhog? Sometimes they come to opposite conclusions but they’re equally authoritative.

Am I crying? You bet your ass I'm crying.
Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Guys, is this how it’s supposed to work?
This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

Fascinating to find out that I’ve made like, three or four negative comments about AI here and am now on a block list called “techno-pessimists.” It’s almost… like… there are people out there who don’t want us to have any kind of serious discourse about AI?

It's like a team of scientists found a really shitty person, carefully deleted the concept of "neighbor" from their brain, and then took notes while they grappled with the concept of nonrelated people living in proximity.
Jesus Christ you freak, they’re just my neighbors

That IS the topic here. The topic here is whether it is reasonable for Chris to be annoyed by comments that seem to refuse to give courts credit for anything they do unless they do what the poster wants, even if what the poster wants is outside their powers.
