When I was a little kid, my brother and I used to play a game where we were space warriors. Our parents didn’t let us have toy guns so we’d use the nozzle from the garden hose. I’m sure we looked completely ridiculous.
No one has ever reminded me more of that hose nozzle than Chuck Schumer.

Soldiers are going to food banks while Trump rolls out a mortgage you can’t pay off until you’re 90 and the New York Times is still convinced that this whole socialism thing is a fad like the Labubu.

Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s Greetings to all!
Five yrs ago today in my role as head of Voter Protection for Biden-Harris in Phila, at right about this moment, I was reaching out to our team to figure out who could sneak into a hastily-called press conference by Rudy Giuliani at the Four Seasons Hotel ... and then, what, it's going to be where??

If there is a better way to troll MAGA without losing an iota of your soul in the process, I have never seen it.

I know there aren't a LOT of people in Maine, but I've been there a couple of times and I know that there are at least a handful who 1) are not Susan Collins, 2) are not nearly 80, and 3) don't have Nazi tattoos.

Uh, yeah. This one is for Mainers to decide, but I for one am having trouble believing that it’s up for debate whether your preferred candidate’s Nazi tattoo means that there’s just maybe a better choice for Senate out there.
Platner tattoo discourse is further proof that the social sanctions against explicitly racism and Nazism have catastrophically broken down, even on the left. We would not be speculating about the contents of his heart if this scandal had happened 15 years ago.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

What I really needed from the New York Times this morning was David Brooks giving a lecture on how movement building works.
two women are standing next to each other in an elevator and one of them is saying " i want to burn this place down "

This is infuriatingly true.
So much of this Platner discourse is both condescending and highly offensive to the millions of blue-collar and rural Americans who go to work and love their neighbors and would never dream of getting a Nazi tattoo and don’t say racist or sexist stuff
