I’m afraid my brother in law has a better story - a moth flew in his ear and he pulled it out. His ear did bother him for a bit and hearing affected. He went to have it suctioned and turned out it had been mating moths and one was left behind.
I just asked my pharmacist if my ear was a bit blocked and he had a look and SCREAMED and told me to go to A&E immediately so off I go, gang!

It’s the most incredible experience in the world as this year’s lucky WTR rowers have just found out.

But it also makes you reflect on those who haven’t made it this far:

Owen Jones’ remark caused quite a lot of consternation on journo groups - especially as he once admitted to totally missing a massive exclusive. So glad to see this redressing the balance.
Veteran news agency boss Mark Solomons hits back at the suggestion from @owenjones.bsky.social that journalism is dominated by the posh and the stupid. Talent and hard work, not education, are the key factors deciding newsroom success - he argues pressgazette.co.uk/comment-anal...

Such depressing and frightening news. I really thought the Bill would be defeated.
So let's be very clear: Westminster plans to introduce assisted suicide on the NHS while doing nothing to fix the rotting social care system that wrecks so many lives of sick, elderly and disabled citizens (and often their families) through its inadequacy

So very sad about this - my favourite kebab shop Dubai gone up in smoke. Fresh flat bread, piles of salad, good quality meat and the owner was lovely. It was a great business model. I hope they can rebuild.

A sad tale with a very happy conclusion!
London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated
