We purchased this view 5 years ago. This is the southern end of the Appalachian Mountain range, the oldest mountains in the world. They used to be as high as the Himalayan mountains but have eroded over millennia. I am one lucky human to get to watch over this landscape.

This is a little video about a new Olympic sport, Team Mountaineering. The US team qualified this week be beating Canada. But what is really amazing about this sport is that each team is made up of one man and one woman—finally a coed sport.
